Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev have renewed their commitment to expand ‍their strategic partnership through increased investment. The leaders met in Azerbaijan’s⁣ Lachin District during Sharif’s four-nation tour,where they discussed strengthening bilateral ties.

Sharif expressed gratitude for Azerbaijan’s support during Pakistan’s recent military confrontation with India. Aliyev had previously congratulated ‍Sharif on Pakistan’s “remarkable success” in the conflict.

The leaders reviewed the breadth of pakistan-Azerbaijan relations, expressing satisfaction with the progress in political, economic, defense, and cultural cooperation. they also emphasized coordinated efforts to promote regional⁣ stability and shared principles on international issues.

The Azerbaijan side agreed to‍ send delegations ⁢to Pakistan ⁣to discuss investment progress, with talks planned soon.⁣ Sharif reiterated the mutual support between the two nations and congratulated Aliyev on ‍Azerbaijan ⁣Republic Day.
