After nearly five decades of exploring spirituality, literary arts, and the human condition, Parabola magazine has ceased publication. The magazine, known for its deep reflections on human existence, faced⁢ insurmountable⁣ financial challenges in the modern publishing landscape.

Founded in 1976, Parabola offered readers a⁢ unique blend⁣ of cosmic art and insightful writing. Its pages featured contributions from notable figures such as Alan Watts and Mary Oliver, covering topics ranging from personal essays on spirituality to interviews ⁢with thought leaders like Ram Dass.‌ the magazine⁣ provided a space for reflection and meaning-making.

Publisher and editor Jeff Zaleski said Parabola remained consistent throughout its history, focusing on fundamental human questions from various spiritual perspectives.He cited themes such as the hero, God, and life after death as examples.
