Paris Saint-Germain Inaugurates New Training Center
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has launched its new training center called the Paris Saint-Germain Campus in Poissy. This facility aims to develop current and future champions while strengthening the club’s influence and commitment to the local community.
The inauguration, hosted by Ophélie Meunier, featured notable guests like Novak Djokovic, Natalia Vodianova, and Inoxtag. PSG legends such as Pedro Miguel Pauleta, Javier Pastore, and Youri Djorkaeff also attended the event. The celebration included a drone show and a performance of “Tous ensemble on chantera” by Axelle Saint-Cirel.
Key Features of the Training Center
The Paris Saint-Germain Campus spans 59 hectares and includes 150,000 m² of outdoor training areas. The facility has 16 football pitches, performance spaces of 600 m², and hydrotherapy pools for various levels of athletes. These features reflect PSG’s investment of 300 million euros in developing young talents and fostering collaboration.
Focus on Women’s Football
A significant aspect of the Campus is its commitment to women’s football. Plans include a dedicated performance building for the women’s team. This initiative aims to advance women’s sports in France, highlighting their importance in PSG’s future.
Youth Development and Training
Youth training and education are top priorities for the Campus. The facility supports 140 young athletes with individualized programs and infrastructure designed for their growth. PSG aims to become a leading force in nurturing talent.
