‘Park Soo-hong♥’ Kim Da-ye “I hate looking 30kg heavier, but I’m appearing on ‘Superman Returns’ to work” > Entertainment News
Comedian Park Soo-hong’s wife Kim Da-ye revealed why she decided to appear on KBS 2TV’s ‘The Return of Superman’.
On the 31st of last month, Kim Da-ye uploaded a video titled “The reason why Park Soo-hong’s wife, who gained 30 kg after pregnancy, decided to appear on TV” on the YouTube channel ‘Park Soo-hong is Happy Da-hong’, in which she turned on the camera and captured herself and her husband on the way to take a full-term pregnancy photo.
In the video, Kim Da-ye said, “When I got the offer to appear on ‘The Return of Superman,’ I had a lot of worries because I weigh close to 80kg, and even then, I was almost at 80kg. I wondered if I could appear on a broadcast like that.” She continued, “There’s something about that. Women don’t want to reveal their chubby and ugly appearances.”
However, Kim Da-ye said, “But is this the right time for us to decide? Even if I give birth to Jeonbok (the baby’s nickname) and work hard to earn money to raise the child, it won’t be enough,” and added, “I don’t know, does it matter that I’m ugly and fat right now? I did it because working is important.”
She then said, “I had no idea that my transformation into fat would become so famous. It got over 3 million views. My husband posted my transformation story on Instagram and it got a ton of views,” drawing attention.
Kim Da-ye also said, “Preparing for pregnancy through IVF was a huge challenge for me, so I think losing 30 kg after giving birth will be an enormous challenge.”
Park Soo-hong consoled his wife by saying, “Of course you’ll lose weight,” but Kim Da-ye said, “There’s no such thing as losing weight naturally. You have to put in effort to lose weight.” She added, “That’s why we had a baby and my husband had a baby in his middle age, and I gained so much weight after getting pregnant that I’m going to take on a big challenge to get healthy again. Anyway, I’m going to work hard for Da-hong and Jeon-bok and work hard all day long.”
