Rising Star Parker Retzlaff Joins Alpha Prime Racing for 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series Season
LAS VEGAS, NV – Young NASCAR talent Parker Retzlaff is set to take the wheel of the No. 4 Chevrolet Camaro for Alpha Prime Racing in the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. The 21-year-old Wisconsin native brings a promising resume to the team, including 12 top-ten finishes and two poles in just 77 Xfinity Series starts.
Retzlaff’s signing comes after a challenging sophomore season at Jordan Anderson Racing, where he battled a series-leading 12 DNFs. Despite the setbacks, Retzlaff remains determined to prove himself.
“I feel like we still have something to prove,” Retzlaff said. “We all want to win races, be consistent, and show everyone we’re here to compete.”
Alpha Prime Racing, coming off its most prosperous season to date with driver Brennan Poole, is confident in Retzlaff’s potential.
“I’m just super excited to have him join us,” said team owner Caesar Bacarella. “He’s a young, really talented racecar driver and he’s going to help elevate the team.”
Bacarella acknowledged the challenges of competing in the highly competitive Xfinity Series, but emphasized the strength of the team’s personnel.
“There’s been a lot of ups and downs, but Tommy [Joe Martins, team president] and I agree it’s all about the people,” Bacarella said. “It’s so hard. We’re racing against the best teams in the world.But we’ve got great people and that’s what’s made it work.”
Retzlaff expressed gratitude for the prospect and the team’s belief in him.”I’m humbled, honestly,” Retzlaff said.”Obviously I wouldn’t be here without the support of my partners – who I’m really excited to announce later. Tommy and Caesar have put together an awesome team. it’s a big confidence booster for me to go into 2025 with a group that really wants me here.”
