Partnerships Essential for Big Scores After ODI Series Loss to NZ

South Africa coach Mashimbyi has identified the need for tactical adjustments following the team’s ODI series defeat to New Zealand.

Speaking on the team’s performance, Mashimbyi indicated that the coaching staff is focused on identifying specific weaknesses within the squad’s current approach.

Our worry is where we need to tweak, where are the gaps Mashimbyi said.

The coach specifically pointed to a lack of batting partnerships as a primary reason for the team’s inability to post high scores during the series.

When you don’t get partnerships, it’s not going to get you hundreds he stated.
