Passport to Convenience: Bucheon City Launches Online Reservation System for Hassle-Free Travel Prep

Bucheon City, Gyeonggi-do, implements an online advance reservation system for passport applications.

For the convenience of citizens, Bucheon City announced that it will implement an online passport application reservation system and a passport application waiting status notification service through its website starting from the 1st.

If you make a reservation in advance through the Bucheon City website, you can apply for passport issuance without waiting after verifying your identity. Visiting hours are from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm on weekdays.

In addition, we plan to disclose the real-time waiting number status on the website so that customers who wish to visit without a reservation can check the waiting number in advance.

For the convenience of office workers, the nighttime civil service office, which operates every Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m., will continue to operate. Bucheon City operates a passport complaint office at Bucheon City Hall and Ojeong-gu Office.

Bucheon Mayor Cho Yong-ik said, “It is expected that through this service, complainants will be able to process their passport complaints more conveniently and quickly.”
