Corus Entertainment Unveils 2025/26 Slate Featuring Peacock Programming

Canadian broadcaster Corus Entertainment is doubling down on its content agreement with Peacock for its 2025/26 schedule. The new slate promises a range of shows across its networks, including Showcase and W Network, as well as streaming service Stacktv. These programs were revealed at Corus’s specialty Upfront in Canada.
Showcase will feature several high-profile series. Among them is The Paper, a spinoff comedy from The Office creators Greg Daniels and Michael Koman, starring Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Impacciatore.The network will also air The Copenhagen Test, an espionage thriller starring Simu Liu, about an intelligence analyst whose brain is hacked. Additionally, Showcase will broadcast Ponies, a spy thriller starring Emilia Clarke and Haley Lu Richardson, focusing on two embassy secretaries turned CIA operatives.
Corus is also adding the Sky limited series Amadeus, starring Will Sharpe and Paul Bettany, which explores the early life of Mozart. New seasons of the NBC comedy Ted and its animated spinoff, Ted: The Animated Series, are also on the way, along with Call Season 4.
The W Network, geared toward female audiences, will feature All Her Fault, a Peacock thriller starring Sarah Snook.The plot centers on a mother who encounters a stranger when picking up her son from a playdate. The network also picked up The ‘Burbs’, a dark comedy adaptation starring Keke Palmer, and the final season of Outlander.
hallmark Channel shows, including Celebrations with Lacey Chabert, are also planned, along with the Ryan Reynolds-narrated natural history series Underdogs. The Flavor Network will debut new originals Halloween Bakeshop and Holiday Bakeshop, hosted by lauren ash. The Home Network will feature Bryan and Sarah Baeumler’s new series, Building Baeumler.

Corus is also set to begin production on Private Eyes West Coast,which will air on Global.
Corus Entertainment, listed in Toronto, recently closed a C$500 million offer for unsecured notes to raise capital and repay debts. Bloomberg reported last November that Corus had engaged jefferies Financial Group to explore a potential company sale.
