Dakota Johnson Reveals Pedro Pascal’s OnlyFans Suggestion, Reflects on Awkward Met Gala Encounter
Dakota Johnson recently shared some surprising career advice she received from her co-star, Pedro Pascal, while promoting their upcoming romantic comedy, Materialists. According to Johnson,Pascal playfully suggested she join OnlyFans.
Pascal’s Playful Prompt: “Move Your Foot and Earn Money”
In an interview with She UK, Johnson recounted Pascal’s encouragement to explore the platform, known for its subscription-based model where creators share exclusive content. “Pedro Pascal told me that I should have an OnlyFans and what could, how, move my foot and earn money,” Johnson said, adding, “Should I do it?”
While unsure if Pascal was serious, Johnson admitted her unfamiliarity with OnlyFans. When a fan inquired about models on the platform, she responded, “I don’t know anything about that. Is only the place where people are going to see others do strange things? Are OnlyFans models attractive? Are they different from normal models?”

Despite her lack of knowledge, Johnson expressed a degree of curiosity. “I think I would look at OnlyFans models on Instagram if I knew how to do it. Sounds fascinating, it seems intriguing,” she stated.
For now, Johnson’s demanding Hollywood career seems to preclude her from seriously considering pascal’s suggestion. Though, several other celebrities, including Denise Richards, Cardi B, Kate Nash, and Lily Allen, have explored the platform in recent years.
First Encounter and Met Gala Mishaps
Johnson and Pascal, who star together in Materialists, directed by Celine Song (Past Lives), reflected on their professional and personal relationship in a recent interview, recalling their initial meeting at the 2014 Golden Globes.
Pascal remembered meeting Johnson at a party following the awards ceremony. “You were alone because they probably didn’t give you a companion. So we join and take care of you,” Pascal said.
Johnson, however, confessed to not remembering their first encounter. “it’s crazy that you don’t remember,” she remarked, surprised.
Pascal also shared a less favorable memory involving Johnson at the Met Gala, an event she described as consistently uncomfortable. “I loved you the first time, and then I thought you weren’t so kind to me in the Met Gala,” he said. “You weren’t bad, but I was building the interaction of having met you. And I felt a little shame when I thought: ‘Oh, she doesn’t remember me.'”
Johnson defended herself, explaining, “Met Gala is like entering a vortex. I don’t know what is happening. I don’t feel that I connect with real human beings in that event.”
