George gountas, a lighting⁣ designer for “The Daily Show,” has been crowned the winner ⁤of ‍a Pedro Pascal lookalike contest. Gountas, ⁣deemed the most convincing double for the “Materialists” star, walked away with a $50 prize and a ⁣year’s ⁣supply of burritos from Son Del North,⁢ a Mexican restaurant on the Lower east Side.

His wife, Jenny Gania, told the New York⁢ Post that the resemblance has been noted for years. “It started when ‘Game of Thrones’ came out,” Gania said, adding that when she saw the contest, she knew it⁣ was the perfect Father’s Day treat for her husband.

Gania also noted the irony of Gountas’ win, considering his lack of social media presence. “It’s⁢ funny,as he’s not on social media at all. But now he’s going ⁢to be everywhere,” she said.
