This story begins in 2010 and culminates, for now, in a misinformation farce in March 2025. Here’s a brief history before describing the farce.
In 2006, during the APRA government, the Interior Minister hired the purchase of 50 troop transport trucks. The company that won the contest was ISDS, from Israel.Shortly after, the minister resigned, and the successor refused to receive and pay for the trucks, indicating a large surcharge and unilaterally canceling the operation.
Some time later, still under the APRA Government, another contest was opened to acquire troop transports. It was won by another Israeli company. The acquired troop transports where the same ones that had previously been refused. The detail is that the last acquisition meant paying about $2 million more than the same troop transports had cost two years prior.
As in all research on corrupt transactions, there were people harmed and resentful for not having been able to complete the transaction.
The Stage and Its Characters
We must now examine the misinforming farce and what it reveals about its perpetrators.
On march 13, a newspaper published an “investigation” by a Gino Román under the title: “Gorriti and the weapon trafficker.”

The “research” was published in a newspaper formally controlled by Martín Belaunde Lossio, but under the influences of Vladimir Cerrón and the Executive of Dina Boluarte.
Cerrón’s relationship with Belaunde Lossio has at least one process in common: the Antalsis case. Journalist Thalia Cárdenas explained the pertinent details of this complex case:
The Prosecutor’s Office notes that Cerrón would have received two trucks from martín Belaunde Lossio in exchange for favoring with two public works to the company Antalsis Peru SAC and subsidiaries through irregular contracts.
Thalia Cárdenas, Journalist
According to the Public Ministry, the State was defrauded for more than 26 million soles during the Regional Government of Vladimir Cerrón, between 2011 and 2014.
the newspaper is another meeting point.Because its director, Ricardo Milla, in addition to the family relationship with Belaunde Lossio, is influenced by Vladimir cerrón.
Milla’s political trajectory is polychrome.
He was a militant of the PPC between 2009 and 2014. Before, he had a blog in which he published opinions of the extreme right. Than he changed principles and ideology and activated in the Socialist Party and supported the presidential campaign of Verónika Mendoza in 2016.
In 2017, he was accused of having assaulted a militant. Milla retired from the Socialist Party and shortly after he began to attack Verónika Mendoza in networks.
His proximity to Peru libre occured through Cerrón.

Through Cerrón, Milla managed to be admitted as a militant of Peru Libre.
At that point, the multiple complaints against Milla, for sexual aggressions and violence and kidnapping, were known. If some militants from Peru Libre tried to demarcate and express their repudiation,it had no results.
Vladimir Cerrón supported Milla, who was to serve him,and the rest did not matter. Milla managed to work in Congress between 2023 and 2024. Then, he managed to be appointed director of the newspaper, both for his kinship with Belaunde Lossio and thanks to Cerrón, who influences the contents.

They are now the times of the cleptocratic Coalition and joint voting, where ultra-right and the lumpen-Leninism, coexist, coordinate and agree both objectives and tactical and campaigns.
Apart from the hand of Cerrón, the newspaper also shows that of the Government, which is why it frequently coincides with ultra-right movements.
This is the newspaper, and its people, who published the insane “research.”

an individual’s pronouncements can reveal their intentions without the need
for extensive investigation.
Like another individual, román has faced accusations of violence against a
woman, stemming from allegations of physical aggression made by a former
partner in 2018.
For various reasons, including a shared animosity toward those who defend
the women accusing them, Román and the other individual have maintained a
friendship or at least a sense of solidarity.román was present among
friends during a scandal in May 2021, when the other individual forcibly
detained their partner, leading to police intervention and media coverage.

The association with a political party provided protection, fostering an
environment that critics have described as misogynistic.
Román also sought closeness with political figures.

Román previously had a close relationship with a former political figure and
current Ombudsman, who initiated approaches between a political party and
its ideological opponents.these efforts contributed to the formation of a
coalition that governs the country today.
Sources familiar with the matter indicate that the Ombudsman sought a
rapprochement between different political factions. Before assuming the role
of Ombudsman, the individual facilitated an approach to a specific group. In fact, attempts were made to approach a political party with all
right-wing factions.
Meanwhile, gino Román solidified his approach to a political party, which
reportedly paid 10,000 soles in 2023 for the “design of training courses
for mayors.”
Subsequently, Román worked in Congress as “technical” staff in the office
of a congresswoman from a political party.
Controversy Surrounds Journalist’s Claims
Allegations of misinformation spark heated debate and demands for investigation.
A recent article published in Diario Uno has ignited a firestorm of controversy, prompting accusations of defamation and the spread of false data. The piece, signed by Gino Román,has been met with strong criticism and demands for clarification.
The central point of contention revolves around claims made in Román’s article, which alleges connections between a journalist and leo Gleser, asserting a long-standing friendship and regular judo practice. These claims have been vehemently denied, with the journalist stating that “There is not a single correct sentence there.” The journalist further refutes the assertion of practicing judo with Gleser, highlighting the logistical impossibility of such an activity given geographical distances.
Román’s article also references Gleser’s alleged arrest in gabon for bribery, implicating Saúl michkin Chlimper, his manager in Peru. However, this information is also disputed, with claims that Román extracted and distorted data from a previous report. According to sources, the incident was an FBI sting operation that took place in Las vegas, nevada, not Gabon, and Gleser was not arrested.
Another point of contention is Román’s claim that the journalist’s daughter worked for ISDS and that this information was intentionally omitted. The journalist clarifies that his daughter’s employment with ISDS occurred after the initial report and that she had the autonomy to make her own career decisions. It is also noted that ISDS did not engage in any sales with the Peruvian State during the relevant period.
The article further alleges irregular purchases by the Peruvian government from companies linked to ISDS during the tenures of Gino Costa and Carlos Basombrío as interior ministers. However, these allegations lack specific details, such as the nature, amount, and parties involved in the transactions.
Román also mentions the current government’s negotiation to purchase rifles from the Israeli company Iwi, claiming that ISDS represents the company in Peru. However, no verifiable evidence is provided to support this claim.
The journalist concludes by questioning the reliability of Román’s information, suggesting that it is either the product of delusion or a intentional attempt at defamation. The controversy has drawn the attention of political figures, with demands for investigations into the alleged transactions.
Disinformation, it is already known, is a set of real disguised lies through a likelihood effort.
The debate continues to unfold, raising questions about journalistic ethics, the spread of misinformation, and the potential consequences for those involved.

Investigation into Disinformation Campaign Targets Public Figures
An analysis of how a coordinated disinformation campaign unfolded, targeting individuals through various media outlets and online platforms.
A recent “research” effort was quickly amplified through channels connected to the far-right, Congress, and sources known for spreading misinformation. Several online platforms reproduced the claims.
One of the most prominent amplifiers of this “research” was a producer formerly associated with a program on Willax, now working as a host on Bethel Television.
In the past year, this individual and a colleague teased an upcoming “bombshell” announcement. the announcement was ultimately unsubstantiated.
Now, this same individual has featured a person identified as Román as a key guest, alongside panelists from the far-right, who displayed a shared viewpoint with a controversial political figure.
This represents a significant shift from previous positions.
The individual no longer advocates for certain causes but instead appears to support opposing ideologies.
Except for the cutra, everything is illusion.
On Bethel, Román continued to present his “investigations,” alleging, among other things, that a public figure’s spouse, a real estate agent, had sold six properties, each valued at $1 million.

The source of this information remains unclear, and no evidence has been presented to support these claims. The individual presenting the information also reportedly confused dates and people. Despite these inaccuracies, the host and his program encouraged Román to continue sharing his “revelations.”
These “complaints” were soon echoed across various digital platforms.

Prominent commentators responded swiftly through social media.

The Backstory
It was evident from the outset that the misinformation presented by Román was not a spontaneous or isolated event.
This assessment is based not onyl on an analysis of the published “information,” but also on other factors.
Approximately two years ago, confidential sources provided information regarding deliberations within certain circles concerning efforts to conceal crimes, discredit confessions, and defame accusers.
These sources indicated that discussions had taken place regarding launching an attack campaign, based on the claim that a public figure’s daughter had worked in ISDS.
Reportedly, some within these circles opposed this tactic, not on moral grounds, but out of concern for potential repercussions.no agreement was reached at the time, but the
