University of Pennsylvania Gymnastics Announces 2025 Schedule
The University of Pennsylvania gymnastics team revealed its 2025 schedule. The team aims to defend its third consecutive Gymnastics East Conference (GEC) regular season and tournament titles.
The season kicks off on Sunday, January 5. Penn will compete in a tri-meet at Penn State alongside the University of New Hampshire. The following weekend, the Quakers travel to New Brunswick, New Jersey, for a quad meet with Rutgers, Towson, and West Chester on Saturday, January 11.
Penn’s first home meet is the Senior Meet on Friday, January 17, featuring Towson, Yale, and Ursinus. The team then heads to George Washington for the Lindsay Ferris Invite with Yale and Fisk University to end January.
On Sunday, February 2, Penn will have its first dual meet at Cornell. They will then face Temple in Philadelphia on February 8. The Quakers will travel to New Haven, Connecticut, on February 15 for another GEC dual meet against Southern Connecticut State University.
Next is the Ivy Classic on Sunday, February 23, hosted by Cornell in Ithaca, New York. Penn will then compete in three away meets: at UNC on February 28, Towson on March 4, and William & Mary on March 8. The team returns to The Palestra on Friday, March 14, to face West Virginia.
The GEC Championship will be hosted by Penn at The Palestra on Saturday, March 22. Last year, the Quakers achieved a significant milestone by winning the Ivy Classic, GEC regular season, and GEC Championships. They return five first-team and three second-team All-GEC selections, including junior Skyelar Kerico, the GEC Gymnast of the Year.
