Perez & Jackson Win All-American Final, U21 World Champions
Brazilian Duo Perez and Jackson Claim U21 Beach Volleyball World Championship Title
In a remarkable display of teamwork and resilience, Brazil’s Rafaela Perez and Duda Jackson secured the gold medal at the 2024 U21 Beach Volleyball World Championships. The victory, achieved after a challenging tournament, was particularly emotional for Perez, who dedicated the win to teammate Avery, stating her desire to earn the opportunity for her and the team on October 20, 2025.
The partnership between Perez and Jackson proved unexpectedly successful, especially considering they had never played together prior to the competition and Jackson’s unfamiliarity with defensive roles. Despite these hurdles, the duo maintained a positive attitude and strong cohesion throughout the tournament. “It’s incredible! We’ve worked so far for this!” Perez exclaimed following the win.
