Perhutani’s Kedu Utara Forest Management Unit (KPH) strengthened collaboration with the Tretep Sector Police and the Tretep Military Post on January 22, 2026, to enhance security and conservation efforts within the region’s forests. The coordination meeting took place in Campurejo Village, tretep District, Temanggung Regency.
This initiative represents a preventative measure by Perhutani to safeguard forest areas from potential security threats and to foster stronger relationships with local security forces. The focus of security efforts centers on the forest area managed by the Kenjuran Forest Resort (RPH), which falls under the Candiroto Forest Management Unit (BKPH).
“Forest security cannot be maintained by a single entity,” said Andrie Syailendra, Administrator of Perhutani KPH kedu Utara. “It requires cooperation from all stakeholders.”
