Persephone and Hazuki are scheduled to compete in the women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament on June 6, 2026. The match will take place during the AEW Collision event in Youngstown, Ohio.

Hazuki secured her position in the tournament after defeating Maya World on May 31, 2026.

Persephone, the current CMLL Women’s Champion, returned to the broadcast on May 31, 2026. She appeared at ringside and provided commentary for the match between Hazuki and Maya World.

This appearance marks the first time Persephone has been seen since earlier in May 2026. At that time, it was announced that she was out indefinitely following a mist attack by Julia Hart during a match.

Despite her return to the arena, Persephone appeared to still be suffering from eye injuries resulting from the attack. Following the conclusion of the May 31 match, she and Hazuki engaged in a staredown ahead of their June 6 encounter.

Tournament Bracket Adjustments

The women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament bracket has undergone several changes due to athlete availability. Willow Nightingale was forced to withdraw from the competition following an injury.

Nightingale’s withdrawal has shifted the scheduling for her original opponent. The match involving Alex Windsor has been moved to June 4, 2026, during the broadcast of AEW Dynamite.

Alex Windsor will now face a wild card opponent on June 4, 2026, to determine who advances in the tournament.

On the opposite side of the bracket, Athena has already progressed in the tournament. She advanced after defeating Mina Shirakawa at the Double or Nothing event.

The final opening round match of the women’s tournament, featuring Skye Blue and Sareee, has not yet been scheduled.
