St. Petersburg Police Seek Person of Interest in fatal Shooting
ST.PETERSBURG, Fla. – A homicide examination is underway in St.Petersburg after a 42-year-old man was fatally shot Wednesday morning. Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest captured on surveillance footage.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 8:30 a.m. in the 3400 block of 14th Avenue South. Upon arrival, they discovered Deon Bell, 42, suffering from a gunshot wound. Bell was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.The st. Petersburg Police Department (SPPD) released a photograph of a person of interest believed to be connected to the shooting. The individual was last seen in the vicinity of the 1300 block of 34th Street South.
“We urge anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the person of interest to come forward,” said an SPPD spokesperson. “even the smallest detail could be crucial to our investigation.”

St. Petersburg, FL – A homicide examination is underway following the fatal shooting of a 42-year-old man in St. Petersburg Wednesday morning.
Deon Bell was found suffering from a gunshot wound around 8:30 a.m. in the 3400 block of 14th Avenue South. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
