Pertamina has officially raised the prices of three non-subsidized fuel types effective 18 April 2026, marking the first adjustment since the company decided against a price increase on 1 April 2026 despite global energy market pressures.

The price hike affects Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex, with Dexlite increasing to Rp 23,600 per litre from Rp 14,200, and Pertamina Dex rising to Rp 23,900 per litre from Rp 14,500. Both fuels saw an identical increase of Rp 9,400 per litre.

Pertamax Turbo now costs Rp 19,400 per litre, up from its previous price, while Pertamax and Pertamax Green 95 remain unchanged at Rp 12,300 and Rp 12,900 per litre respectively. These prices apply specifically to DKI Jakarta and Banten regions, with Pertamina noting that fuel selling prices may vary across Indonesia due to regional taxes and logistics costs.

The adjustment follows Pertamina’s decision on 1 April 2026 not to raise fuel prices despite a surge in global energy prices linked to the Middle East conflict. The company had previously addressed rumors of an impending price increase in late March 2026, stating that unverified information circulating on social media could not be accounted for and urging the public to rely on official channels.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian government has confirmed that subsidized fuel prices will remain unchanged through the end of 2026. Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia stated that the decision aligns with President Prabowo Subianto’s directive and is supported by stable national energy supplies and manageable Indonesian Crude Price (ICP) levels, which averaged no more than US$77 from January to April 2026.

Pertamina emphasized that the price adjustment is part of its regular monthly review process in line with global crude oil movements, though the specific increase for April 2026 marks a notable shift from its earlier stance of maintaining prices amid international volatility.
