- The intake schedule is split into two distinct operational phases.
The Peruvian Ministry of Culture has set a limit of 200 different titles per submission as it opens its latest editorial acquisition process, gob.pe reported. Agents throughout the country’s book and reading ecosystem can now offer material for public libraries and designated reading spaces under a newly established schedule.
Ministry of Culture Sets Virtual Catalog Submission Deadlines
Publishers, distributors, bookstores, and author-editors must submit their virtual catalogs through the Ministry’s online citizen service platform. For the presentation of virtual catalogs, agents will need to enter the identification of the editorial offer module found on the Ministry of Culture’s virtual citizen service platform, which will remain enabled 24 hours a day until the absolute deadline of Monday, October 26, 2026. The Ministry of Culture outlined strict operational windows for the process, which runs from October 8, 2026, through November 2, 2026, gob.pe reported.
The intake schedule is split into two distinct operational phases. Virtual catalogs must be uploaded to the Plataforma Virtual de Atención a la Ciudadanía between October 8 and October 26, 2026. Physical samples corresponding to those cataloged titles must then be delivered between the day after virtual submission and November 2, 2026, gob.pe reported.

Required Documentation and Delivery Channels for Book Agents
Participants must align their offerings with thematic axes and technical components established under Resolución Directoral N° 000922-2026-DLL-DGIA-VMPCIC/MC. The regulation, approved on September 15, 2026, governs acquisitions for the 2027 to 2030 period, gob.pe reported.
Physical deliveries require specific accompanying paperwork alongside the books themselves. The physical samples sent to the Ministry of Culture must match in quantity and title details according to what is recorded in the catalog presentation format previously sent through the virtual citizen service platform. Agents must submit the Formato de Inicio de Trámite, a simple alphabetical list of the physical samples, and a copy of the company RUC or DNI, gob.pe reported.
Deliveries can be made at the central ministry desk or at decentralized culture offices across the country. Technical assistance is available via telephone at (01) 714-0102, annex 2659, from Monday through Friday between 08:30 and 16:30 hours, gob.pe reported.
