Updated june 06, 2025
The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has introduced a new direct-to-consumer (DTC) app, providing fans access to live events and fights from its regional mixed martial arts (MMA) leagues. This strategic move enhances the PFL’s global league strategy and fan engagement.
In the US, the platform offers free access to competitions, including PFL Europe, PFL MENA, and PFL Africa leagues. Globally, the PFL App delivers facts, entertainment, and fan engagement tools, such as fighter stats, advanced analytics, fan rewards, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content. The PFL has partnered with ViewLift, a digital streaming platform, to develop this offering.
Upcoming PFL International League fights include PFL MENA on July 4 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; PFL Europe on july 5 in Brussels, Belgium; and PFL Africa on July 19 in Cape Town, South Africa, marking the Africa league’s debut.
“We’re putting the power directly in the hands of MMA fans,” said Peter Murray, PFL CEO. “For the first time, fans in the US can watch PFL MENA, PFL Europe, PFL Africa, and PFL Pacific live and free, all in one place.”
Murray added that the PFL App represents a major investment in delivering a more connected experience for fans. The app is available on Apple and google Play stores and online, with plans to expand to OTT devices like Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV later this year.
Last month, the PFL continued its global expansion with the launch of PFL Pacific, its fourth regional league, covering Australia and New Zealand.
What’s next
The PFL plans to continue expanding its digital offerings and global presence, providing MMA fans with more access to live events and exclusive content through the PFL app.
