DICE Summit 2026 to Feature Phil Spencer, Focus on Esports

The D.I.C.E. Summit, the premier video game networking conference, is set to take place at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. This year’s event, #DICE2026, will include a keynote address from Phil Spencer of Xbox, next Wednesday, as announced by Geoff Keighley.

Keighley, a leading figure in video game media, will join Spencer for the discussion. He is known for his work as Executive Producer of The Game Awards and his role in producing events like The Rise of the Video Game. Keighley has established himself as a prominent personality in the industry over the past two decades, anchoring YouTube’s live coverage of E3 and hosting GTTV with Geoff Keighley.

The D.I.C.E. Summit aims to provide an environment for networking and discussion within the video game industry. Programming is designed to facilitate both conversations and deals among attendees. Networking activities will allow attendees to interact with speakers, delegates, and companies driving growth in the games sector.

A key topic at this year’s summit will be the evolution of esports. A session titled “The Future of Esports: Blizzard’s Long Competitive Quest” will feature Blizzard CEO and Cofounder Mike Morhaime, Overwatch League Commissioner Nate Nanzer, and Esports Director of Operations Kim Phan. The discussion will cover the history of esports, from the early days of StarCraft to the launch of the Overwatch League.

The session on esports will also bring together seasoned team owners to share their perspectives on the industry’s growth and its increasing appeal to traditional sports organizations. The D.I.C.E. Summit recognizes the significant audience and investment now surrounding esports.

The 29th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards will also be a highlight of the summit. Winners will be announced live on IGN.com at 8pm on February 12. Greg Miller, founder of Kinda Funny Games, and Stella Chung will return as co-hosts for the awards show, which recognizes achievements in the video game industry through a peer-selected panel.
