PhilCycling National Championships: Path to Asian Junior Road Cycling Team

PhilCycling National Championships: Key Information

• Location and Dates: The Batang Pinoy road cycling competitions will take place in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, from November 23 to 28, 2024.

• National Junior Team Spots: Winners in the 16-17 years age category will have the chance to join the national junior team. This team will compete in the 31st Asian Junior Road Cycling Championships in Thailand in February 2025.

• Events: The Individual Time Trial (ITT) will occur on November 26, and the Individual Road Race (IRR) will be held on November 27. Both events will start and finish at the Iwahig Penal Colony.

• Passport Requirement: Parents or guardians must ensure athletes have passports ready for registration, following approval from a committee set up by PhilCycling.

• Asian Championships Summary: The prestigious Asian Championships, organized by the Asian Cycling Confederation, will feature elite, Under-23, and Para Championships.

• Upcoming National Championships: The 2025 National Championships for Road will occur from February 24 to 28, 2025, in Tagaytay City and nearby areas. Events include criterium races, ITTs, and road races across multiple categories.
