The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) has been appointed as the Chair and Secretariat of the task force, taking the lead in orchestrating the nation’s preparations. Complementing this leadership, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) will serve as the Vice Chair, ensuring effective coordination with LGUs and local stakeholders.

The task force is empowered to undertake critical functions, including the comprehensive planning, implementation, and procurement of all necessary materials for the tournament.It is also mandated to foster collaboration by coordinating plans and activities across all member agencies and is authorized to form an executive committee, as needed, to provide focused oversight on specific operational aspects.

Recognizing the scale of the undertaking, the task force is authorized to accept donations, contributions, grants, and gifts from both domestic and international sources, provided these are in accordance with existing laws and regulations. Moreover, all national government agencies, state universities and colleges, and government-owned and -controlled corporations (GOCCs) are directed to lend their full support and assistance to the task force.
