Phoebe Bridgers has announced a surprise performance at Madison Square Garden scheduled for Thursday, June 4, 2026. The California singer-songwriter, who has been touring North America as part of her Spring Pop-Up Tour
, will perform at the New York City venue with tickets available starting at $1.
Tickets for the event are being managed through Tidal. Due to expected high demand, tickets will be randomly allocated to fans who register by 11:59 PM ET on Monday, June 1, 2026.
Fans registering for the show can choose to pay $1, $5, $10, or $20. A portion of these proceeds will be donated to the Community Justice Exchange’s Immigration Bond Freedom Fund, an organization that provides aid to individuals in immigration detention. The registration site specifies that the chosen payment amount will not affect a fan’s probability of being selected for a ticket.
All individuals who registered will receive an email on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, to notify them if they were selected. For those who secure tickets, seat locations will be assigned randomly.
Venue Policies and Recording
The performance will implement a strict device policy to limit distractions and unauthorized recording. The venue will utilize Yondr lockable pouches, and cellphones, smartwatches, smart glasses, cameras, and other recording devices will not be permitted during the show.

fans will be asked for consent to be recorded audiovisually. This requirement suggests the performance may be recorded for a future professional release.
Indications of New Solo Material
The Madison Square Garden date follows Bridgers’ first live solo performance in three years, which took place earlier in June 2026 in Roswell, New Mexico. During that appearance, she debuted three new songs and provided indications that a new studio album is in development.
Attendees at the Roswell show received exclusive cards that can be combined to form what is believed to be the artwork for the upcoming record.
Bridgers has not released a solo album since 2020’s Punisher
. NME ranked that project as the fifth best album of 2020, describing it as follows:
Introspective, with a sense of solitude woven throughout, ‘Punisher’ found Bridgers asserting herself as an individual force through self-production and pragmatic collaboration. The result: a multifaceted ode to embracing life’s oddities and living in the moment.
Since the release of Punisher
, Bridgers has focused on her work with the supergroup Boygenius, alongside Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus. The trio announced a hiatus following the completion of their 2023 album The Record
, which was named album of the year by NME.
Potential Film Appearance
Beyond her music, rumors emerged in 2025 regarding a potential acting role for Bridgers in an upcoming A24 production titled Primetime
. The film is set to star Robert Pattinson.
The plot of Primetime
reportedly centers on a journalist, played by Pattinson, who impacts the television industry after infiltrating the undercover world of crime. The project is said to be inspired by the American reality series To Catch A Predator
and is expected to be released in September 2026.
