A group of National basketball League (NBL) team owners is challenging the league’s governance, citing concerns about integrity and financial transparency.The move follows what some owners describe as ignored calls for change after a January vote.
According to an email from one of the owners, Novelly, seven owners voted earlier this year to explore a “new path forward” due to governance issues. Novelly is also a shareholder in the East Asia Super League,which features teams from Japan,South Korea,the Philippines,Taiwan,Hong Kong,and Macau.
