Profitability Improvements at PhonePe
PhonePe significantly improved its profitability in FY25, with adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA), excluding employee stock option costs (ESOPs), more than doubling to rs 1,477 crore from Rs 652 crore in the prior year.
Adjusted profit after tax, also excluding ESOP costs, more than tripled, rising to Rs 630 crore from Rs 197 crore in the previous fiscal year. This indicates a ample increase in the company’s bottom line.
