The American Ballet Theatre (ABT) recently held its annual Spring Gala at Cipriani South Street in New York, celebrating 85 years of dance and honoring philanthropists Susan and Leonard Feinstein for their long-standing support. The black-tie event showcased the company’s commitment to both classic and contemporary ballet,offering a glimpse into the upcoming 2025 Summer season.
ABT Artistic director Susan Jaffe and Executive Director Barry Hughson opened the evening with a toast, acknowledging the Feinsteins’ contributions to new choreography and the company’s artistic endurance.Guests then enjoyed cocktails and a candlelit dinner before the evening’s main attraction: a series of dance performances.
