Piao Jie received the donation Personal Award at the Jilin Charity Awards

Piao Jie, chairman of Yanbian Kexian Bioscience Co., Ltd., received the Donation Personal Award at the second Jilin Charity Awards ceremony on October 10 in Changchun.

The Second Jilin Charity Awards Selection Criteria

Established under the Charity Law of the People’s Republic of China and the Jilin Charity Regulations, the Jilin Charity Awards take place every three years. The awards comprise four main categories: charity models, charity projects and charity trusts, donation enterprises, and donation individuals.

Candidates undergo a rigorous screening process involving unit recommendations, multi-tier reviews, comprehensive expert evaluations, and provincial on-site inspections. The selection aims to leverage charity within the third distribution framework to encourage societal participation in common prosperity and local economic development.

Under the guiding philosophy of industry serving the people and philanthropic benevolence, Piao Jie has integrated corporate development with social responsibility.

The funding has assisted hundreds of financially struggling students and high-performing educators, while specialized scholarships have expanded to multiple academic institutions nationwide.

Kexian Bioscience Expands Relief and Disaster Support

Alongside education, Piao Jie has directed Kexian Bioscience to participate in elder care support, disaster relief, and pandemic response initiatives. The corporate group launched the Love 1+1 public welfare action during public health emergencies, coordinating employees and offline storefronts to donate funds and medical supplies.

When local floods struck, the enterprise provided relief funds to help residents rebuild their homes. The company also maintains ongoing donation and visit programs for elder care facilities, special education schools, and vulnerable populations.
