Pig Prices Today: Slight Increase Across Regions
As of September 25, pig prices have experienced a slight increase in the three main regions of Vietnam, with prices fluctuating between 63,000 – 71,000 VND/kg.
Northern Region Sees Increase in Pig Prices
The price of live pigs in the North has increased by VND1,000/kg, with prices now ranging from VND68,000 – VND71,000/kg. Specifically, in Yen Bai, Ninh Binh, and Ha Nam, the price has risen to VND69,000/kg, a VND1,000/kg increase.
Central Highlands Experience Slight Increase
Pig prices in the Central Highlands have also seen a VND1,000/kg increase, with current prices fluctuating between VND64,000 - 69,000/kg. In Quang Tri and Ninh Thuan, the price of live pigs is 65,000 VND/kg, while in Dak Lak, it is 66,000 VND/kg, both representing a VND1,000/kg increase.
Southern Provinces See Slight Increase in Pig Prices
In southern provinces and cities, pig prices have increased slightly, with prices now ranging from 63,000 - 67,000 VND/kg. In Bac Lieu, Hau Giang, and Ho Chi Minh City, prices have reached 64,000 VND/kg, 65,000 VND/kg, and 66,000 VND/kg, respectively, all up VND1,000/kg. Kien Giang province has the lowest live pig price in the country at 63,000 VND/kg.
