The PFFC Collection and Retro Aesthetics
A central component of the launch is the PFFC Collection, a capsule inspired by the Pink Floyd Football Club. This team was founded by the band in the 1970s, consisting of members David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Nick Mason, and Richard Wright, alongside their crew and friends, who played matches during breaks in their touring schedules.
The current collection draws inspiration from a historic photograph of the band taken by Kim Gottlieb-Walker. It reimagines the 1970s aesthetic through a modern lens, blending the identities of Pink Floyd and the Italian football club. The collection includes a retro jersey featuring PFFC lettering reminiscent of the original shirts worn in the photograph, with a specially adapted 50th anniversary logo of Wish You Were Here
on the back.
Other apparel includes a t-shirt featuring Pink Floyd FC Internazionale Milano
branding and the iconic handshake from the album’s front cover displayed on the sleeves. Beyond clothing, the collaboration offers scarves, tote bags, guitar picks, and drumsticks.
