Pinkapalooza Fest Brings Breast Cancer Screenings and Support to Augusta Mall

The Augusta Mall will host the Pinkapalooza Fest on Oct. 2-3, 2026, featuring breast cancer screenings, a blood drive, and a survivor celebration. Organized to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the two-day event provides medical services and support for survivors, caregivers, and supporters according to a community announcement reported by the Augusta Chronicle.
Breast Cancer Screenings and Medical Services
The festival opens Oct. 2 with the “Reduce Your Risk” Breast Cancer Screening Event. This portion of the event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Dillard’s parking lot.
Screening services are provided through a partnership between Dillard’s, the Piedmont mobile mammogram bus, and the Georgia Department of Public Health Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program.
Survivor Celebration and Community Activities
Activities move to the fountain area near the Barnes & Noble entrance on Oct. 3, where the fountain will be lit pink. A Breast Cancer Awareness Walk begins inside the mall at 10 a.m.
A survivor breakfast sponsored by Toaste Augusta starts at 10:30 a.m., followed by a main celebration from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This celebration includes food trucks, vendors, entertainment, a fashion show, testimonies, and line dancing. A prayer tent will also be available during these hours.
The first 150 registered survivors will receive gift bags valued at $750, provided through a partnership with the United Breast Cancer Foundation.
Blood Drive and Patient Support
A blood drive hosted by A Blood Connection will operate from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 3. Donors participating in the drive will receive a $30 gift card.
Organizers stated that 25% of blood products collected during A Blood Connection drives are used to assist cancer patients.
