PinkPantheress Delivers Star-Studded Performance at Coachella Weekend 2

British pop artist PinkPantheress transformed her Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival performance into a star-studded celebration during the festival’s second weekend, featuring surprise guest appearances, live collaborations, and a heartfelt onstage birthday moment.

Taking the stage at the Mojave tent, PinkPantheress built upon her already buzzing first-weekend set with a more expansive, guest-driven show that highlighted her growing influence in the global pop landscape. The performance included a solo appearance by Zara Larsson, who performed the title track from her album Midnight Sun before hinting at a potential future collaboration with PinkPantheress on a deluxe edition of the project.

The two artists’ collaborative track “Stateside” had recently reached No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Charts, gaining further prominence after being featured in the exhibition performance of newly crowned U.S. Women’s figure skating champion Alysa Liu at the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics.

Janelle Monáe also made a notable appearance, joining PinkPantheress on guitar during the set. Additional guests included Australian DJ Ninajirachi, actor Tyriq Withers, Chase Infiniti, Slayyyter, and Manon, contributing to a lively, cameo-filled atmosphere that underscored the festive, party-like energy of the performance.

PinkPantheress ran through a series of fan favorites, including “Stateside,” “Romeo,” “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2,” and “Illegal,” maintaining her signature blend of fast-paced, club-ready production and understated vocals. The most personal moment of the set came during “Illegal,” when Withers returned to the stage to celebrate the singer’s birthday.

Withers presented PinkPantheress with a rose as dancers held up a “Happy Birthday” sign, prompting an emotional embrace between the two before they exited the stage together to roaring applause from the crowd.

The performance stood out as one of several guest-driven highlights from Coachella’s second weekend, which also featured Olivia Rodrigo joining Addison Rae onstage and Sabrina Carpenter bringing out Madonna during her headlining set on Friday night.
