Born in Los Angeles to actress Laura straub and screenwriter Allan Scott, Pippa Scott’s career began on Broadway in 1956 with ‘child of Fortune.’ That same year, she appeared in John ford’s iconic Western, ‘The Searchers.’ Throughout the ’70s and ’80s, Scott was a familiar face on television, guest-starring in shows like ‘The Twilight Zone,’ ’Perry Mason,’ and ‘Columbo’.
Beyond acting, Pippa Scott dedicated herself to human rights. she founded the International Monitor Institute, a non-profit focused on gathering evidence for war crime prosecutions. She also produced documentaries, including ‘World’s Most Wanted Man, The Hunt for Radovan Karadzic’ and ‘King Leopold’s Ghost’.
