Sega Publishing Korea will⁤ release ‘Yakuza: Like a Dragon 8 Side Story: Pirates in⁢ Hawaii’ on February ​28, 2025. The game is scheduled to be released on PS5,‌ PS4,‌ Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC, ⁤and officially supports Korean.

Yakuza ⁢8 Side⁤ Story is an action adventure game set half ⁣a⁢ year after Yakuza‌ 8. The game is set in an⁣ island ⁣and the sea,​ and the main character ‍is Majima Goro, who washes up on a ⁤remote island beach after fighting Kiryu at the Millennium Tower in the main game.

Gameplay and Features

Majima,‍ who has lost his memory and even ‌forgot his own name, sets‍ out to the sea with‍ Noah, a boy from the island who⁤ saved his life, ⁤in order to find clues about himself.

The background Hawaii and the surrounding seas are ⁤the⁤ places where many ‍pirates and ⁤seamen gather their desires. You can ⁤explore various locations, such as the remote island of ‘Rich Island’ where Goro Majima awakens, and the ⁢remote island of ‘Madlantis’ where‌ many criminal organizations coexist.

Yakuza; Like; 8 side ​story returns⁣ to real-time action battles, unlike the main story. Majima⁢ Goro fights in two styles, ‘Mad Dog’ and ‘Pirates’. Majima’s fast-paced punches ⁢and kicks-based combat is implemented in the ⁣Mad Dog style. Pirates is themed around pirates and uses⁢ various related‍ tools such as cutlasses ⁣and pistols to ⁣fight enemies.
