Table of Contents
Google’s upcoming Pixel 10 lineup, including the highly anticipated Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, appears to be maintaining its current pricing structure in European markets, with a couple of notable adjustments. however, it’s not all good news, as Google’s next generation of A-Series earbuds are set to see a significant price hike.
Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro Fold: European Pricing Holds Steady (Mostly)
Recent leaks suggest that Google will continue to offer the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro Fold in European countries like France. The good news for many is that the core pricing seems to remain consistent with previous generations. However, there are a couple of key changes to note.
For the Pixel 10 Pro XL, Google appears to be ditching the base 128GB storage tier. This means the entry-level option for the larger pro model will likely start with higher storage, possibly impacting the starting price point for that specific configuration. On the flip side, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is rumored to be gaining a new 1TB storage option, offering more versatility for users who need ample space for their photos, videos, and apps.
Pixel Buds 2a: A Pricey Upgrade on the Horizon
While the flagship Pixel phones might be holding their ground, Google’s budget-pleasant Pixel Buds are reportedly getting more expensive. The upcoming “Pixel Buds 2a,” which recently surfaced, are expected to launch with a price tag of €149. This represents a ample increase from the current Pixel Buds A-Series, which retail for €109.This price jump for the A-Series earbuds is a notable shift and might make potential buyers reconsider their options.
US Pricing and Rumor Mill: What’s Next?
It remains to be seen whether Google will adjust its US pricing strategy for the Pixel 10 series, especially considering ongoing tariff situations. For now, the European leaks suggest a stable pricing landscape in that region.
Interestingly, these leaks also seem to directly contradict a rather peculiar rumor from earlier this year. That rumor had claimed the Pixel 10 Pro Fold would actually be cheaper than its predecessors. While the Fold’s pricing might not be dropping, the same rumor did predict a $100 price increase for the Pixel 10 Pro XL. This could align with the removal of the 128GB tier, as the new base model might start with a higher storage capacity, thus commanding a higher price.
