Plaza Premium Group has entered the Thai market with the simultaneous opening of two distinct airport lounges at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, according to reporting from The Edge Malaysia. The dual-lounge launch introduces both the high-end Plaza Premium First concept and the flagship Plaza Premium Lounge to a major Southeast Asian transit hub, offering access to all travelers regardless of their airline or class of service.
Two Distinct Lounges Open at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport
The newly opened facilities are located airside on the third floor of Concourse G, near Gate G1. The larger of the two spaces, the Plaza Premium Lounge, covers 578 square meters and has a maximum capacity for 98 guests. Right beside it, Plaza Premium First occupies a 212-square-meter footprint with seating for up to 51 guests, providing a more intimate environment for travelers. Both venues are now open for bookings and walk-ins, welcoming passengers of any ticket class.
Expanding Award-Winning Airport Hospitality in Southeast Asia
The dual launch marks a major milestone in the regional expansion of Plaza Premium Group, which has built its reputation over a 28-year operating history. The company’s core lounge brand has repeatedly earned industry recognition, including holding the title of Skytrax’s World’s Best Independent Airport Lounge for nine consecutive years. Plaza Premium First represents an elevated tier that debuted in Hong Kong in 2018. It has since expanded to international travel hubs including Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Macau, Vancouver, Phnom Penh, Rome, and Dallas Fort Worth. The Bangkok location brings bespoke concierge assistance, tailored gourmet dining menus, signature cocktails, and curated wine selections to Thailand’s primary international gateway.

Tailored Amenities and Local Gastronomy
Each space caters to different travel preferences through distinct interior design and service models. The Plaza Premium Lounge focuses on regional heritage, featuring live cooking stations that highlight local Thai gastronomy alongside comfortable zones designed for solo flyers, families, and business passengers. Meanwhile, Plaza Premium First emphasizes private meetings, tranquil rest zones, and personalized service from arrival to departure. Song Hoi See, founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Group, noted that Bangkok serves as a critical hub defined by warmth and flavor. By introducing the dual-lounge concept at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, the company aims to give passengers greater flexibility to choose an airport experience that fits their specific journey.
