(Andong = Yonhap News) Reporter Seunghyeong Lee = The APEC Preparation Support Team announced on the 13th that it will be contesting promotional slogans for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit to be held in Gyeongju in 2025.
Until the 1st of next month, join us for the ‘National Contest!’ It will be held under the theme ‘APEC 2025 KOREA’.
Anyone can participate, and each person can enter up to three entries.

It can be a concise and appealing phrase (within 30 characters mixed in Korean and English) that clearly expresses the significance and effect of holding the APEC Summit in Gyeongju.
The APEC Preparation Support Team evaluates four items: originality, symbolism, effectiveness, and suitability, selects the winning works, and uses them for various promotional purposes.
A total of 11 people will receive prizes and certificates, including the Grand Prize, Excellence Prize, and Encouragement Prize.

Kim Sang-cheol, head of the APEC Preparation Support Group, said, “We will work with the government to create an APEC that is shared with the people so that Gyeongju, which has the most Korean characteristics, can receive praise from people around the world.
