PLG/Lu Junxiang lost again in the fourth quarter of play and basketball
The Tainan Taipei Falcons, who joined the PLG this season, played their first game at their new home court at National Cheng Kung University this week. They faced the Taipei Fubon Warriors and started strong, leading for the first three quarters. However, they lost the game 85-101 due to key players Lu Junjiang and General Jones being unable to maintain their performance.
During the first quarter, the Falcons led 25-19, thanks to Bai Sa’s seven points. In the second quarter, after making two free throws, they extended their lead to 38-29 with a 12-0 run. The Warriors made a three-pointer in the closing seconds, narrowing the score.
In the third quarter, Lu Zhongjiang and Brown made consecutive outside shots, regaining the lead for the Warriors. By the end of the third quarter, the Falcons found themselves trailing at 62-65.
In the fourth quarter, the Falcons tried to fight back. Though Chikan and Bai Sao made some points, they could not stop Lu Junjiang. He scored significantly, contributing seven points to help the Warriors build a double-digit lead. The game ended with the Warriors on top, 101-85.
Lu Junjiang was the standout performer for the Warriors, scoring 22 points. He also contributed 9 rebounds. General Jones scored 19 points and collected 10 rebounds as well. Bai Sa added 11 points, with Xie Zongrong contributing 10 points.
