PLNU Men’s Basketball Triumphs Over Seattle Pacific; Prepares for Central Washington Showdown
PLNU Men’s Basketball Update
On Friday, No. 12 Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU) Men’s Basketball won against Seattle Pacific, with a final score of 82-68 at Golden Gym. The game featured a strong first half, ending with PLNU leading 47-44.
In the second half, PLNU’s defense excelled, allowing Seattle Pacific to score only 24 points. This is the fewest points the Sea Lions have allowed in a second half this season. PLNU held the Falcons scoreless for over five minutes.
Luke Haupt was the standout player, scoring a season-high 27 points on 10-for-15 shooting. Coby Barnes contributed 14 points, and Jaden Matingou added 12 points.
PLNU’s record now stands at 7-1 overall. The team will conclude its non-conference play on Saturday, November 30, against Central Washington at 4 p.m. This game will mark the end of the PLNU Thanksgiving Classic.
