Plovdiv Street Closure for University Area Renovation
Street Closure Details
A section of “Tsanko Dyustabanov” Street in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, is temporarily closed for repairs. The closure affects the stretch between “Tsar Asen I” Street and the Technical University, Plovdiv24.bg reported. Drivers entering the street from ”Tsar Boris III – Obedinitel” Boulevard have encountered the restriction.
Preparatory work,including the removal of asphalt,began earlier in the day. This work is part of a larger project aimed at improving the area surrounding Plovdiv’s two major universities.
Official Opening and Project Scope
the official commencement of the renovation works is scheduled for January 7th. The event will be attended by Plovdiv Mayor Kostadin Dimitrov, Professor Rumen Mladenov, Rector of Paisiy Hilendarski University, and Associate Professor Nikola Shakev, Director of the Technical University – Sofia, Plovdiv branch.
The ceremony will take place at the kindergarten located in front of the Paisiy Hilendarski University rectory on “Tsar Boris III – Obedinitel” Boulevard.
According to the Municipality of plovdiv, the renovation is a key component of a long-term strategy to enhance the urban habitat. the project will include the renovation of sidewalks and landscaping improvements throughout the area.
