Indian farmers may soon receive good news as the 20th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) is anticipated to be released this month. While an official date remains unconfirmed, expectations are high for the next ₹2,000 payment to be directly deposited into the bank accounts of qualifying farmers.
Launched in February 2019, the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi is a central government initiative providing financial assistance to small and marginal farmers. The scheme provides ₹6,000 annually,distributed in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
