Jonas Vingegaard finished second, followed by Van der Poel and Remco Evenepoel. The final ‍kilometers saw a ‍flurry of attacks, with Vingegaard⁢ initiating​ the​ decisive move ⁢approximately 5.5km from the finish. Evenepoel‍ and van der Poel were prominent in driving the pace toward the line.

The 195.8km stage​ commenced in ‌Domérat and concluded with ‌three laps around Montluçon. The course included categorized climbs and undulating terrain, presenting⁤ a challenging test for the riders.
