Ms. Peckham, originally from Cork, Ireland, had resided in Spain for several years and also maintained connections to the United Kingdom. Following her death last week, her remains were transferred to the Benidorm Medical Judicial Institute for a thorough autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Arrest Made in Connection with Investigation
A 63-year-old British woman has been arrested by Spanish police in connection with the investigation, according to a statement from the Spanish National Police. Authorities have indicated that all potential avenues are being explored as the investigation progresses.
