The updated Polygon Helios A aims to deliver an affordable aero road bike experience. Polygon emphasizes user-friendliness, adding features that allow riders to transition from racing to endurance riding.The new model retains its aero frame but incorporates greater tire clearance and a threaded bottom bracket.
Polygon claims the new Helios A frame is 150 grams lighter than its predecessor. The company also touts the fork as one of the lightest available, weighing 300 grams uncut. A size small Polygon Helios A0,equipped with SRAM Red AXS,is reported to weigh 16.1 pounds (7.2 kg).

Stiffness has been increased in key areas such as the head tube and bottom bracket, according to Polygon, to enhance speed. The bike now features a T47 threaded bottom bracket, replacing the PF86 press fit. Tire clearance is a reported 700c x 34 mm.The Di2 battery has been relocated near the bottom bracket.
Additional changes include a SRAM UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) for easier derailleur replacement. The helios A is compatible with both aero and standard round seat posts. Polygon has also moved away from a one-piece handlebar and stem to simplify maintenance and customization.
