JAKARTA – Indonesian electronics manufacturer polytron officially entered the electric vehicle market with the launch of its first electric cars, the G3 and G3+, at the kempinski Hotel in Central Jakarta on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. the vehicles are offered with a choice of battery subscription or outright purchase options.
Polytron CEO Hariono stated that the launch coincides with the company’s 50th anniversary in september.
“As we celebrate 50 years of serving Indonesian consumers since 1975, we are proud to introduce our first electric car,” Hariono said at the launch event.
“We are committed to continuous learning and innovation to improve the lives of the Indonesian people. This launch represents a notable step in that journey,” he added.
