Lontrell Denell Williams Jr., the Memphis rapper known as Pooh Shiesty, faced eviction from a luxury North Dallas condominium in the weeks preceding his arrest in a federal kidnapping conspiracy case.

The eviction notice, issued by the property landlord Mano Group LLC, concerned a unit located at Windrose Tower at Legacy West. The notice was addressed to Williams and his father, Lontrell Denell Williams Sr.

According to the documentation, the landlord issued a Final Notice of Multiple Lease Violations following several incident reports submitted by the building’s homeowners’ association between November 13 and December 7, 2025.

The HOA reports indicated a series of breaches regarding the building’s governing documents and the residential lease. One violation occurred on November 13, 2025, involving a guest identified as Rodney Wright Kevin Dubois.

Building staff discovered what the association described as an overwhelming marijuana odor in Guest Suite 1 after Dubois checked out. This incident required the suite to be fumigated, resulting in a $250 charge billed to the landlord, for which Williams was held responsible.

A subsequent report dated December 3, 2025, detailed another incident involving a guest, Tim Ademola Ademosu. The notice states that Ademosu entered the property while producing an intense marijuana odor that was noticeable in the lobby, elevator, and parking garage areas.

Building management required the guest to leave the premises. The HOA characterized this as a violation of lease provisions that prohibit illegal activity, nuisance, smoking, and conduct disturbing other residents.

Further violations were cited on December 5, 2025, regarding the conditions inside the unit. The association informed the landlord that Williams had acquired two dogs, despite a condominium rider stating that tenants are not permitted to keep dogs in a tenant-occupied unit without written approval.

the HOA reported that an unauthorized adult female was residing in the unit, which violated occupancy rules requiring landlord approval for additional residents.

Federal Kidnapping and Robbery Charges

These lease violations occurred shortly before federal authorities arrested Williams in connection with a violent incident on January 10, 2026, at a Dallas recording studio.

Federal Kidnapping and Robbery Charges

The Department of Justice alleges that Pooh Shiesty and rapper BIG30, whose legal name is Rodney Lamont Wright Jr., orchestrated an armed robbery and kidnapping of three people. The alleged motive was to force a release from The New 1017 label, owned by Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane, whose real name is Radric Davis.

According to the DOJ, the incident began when Shiesty invited music industry professionals to a meeting to discuss his contract. Instead of a civil discussion, the defendants allegedly resorted to violence and intimidation.

The DOJ stated that BIG30 barricaded the studio door to keep the victims inside. Pooh Shiesty then allegedly produced an AK-style pistol and forced one of the victims to sign a release from the recording contract at gunpoint.

While the Department of Justice has not officially identified the victims, reports from TMZ indicate that Gucci Mane was among those kidnapped and robbed of cash and jewelry at gunpoint.

A total of nine suspects have been charged in the federal conspiracy. They include:

  • Lontrell Williams Jr. (Pooh Shiesty)
  • Rodney Wright Jr. (BIG30)
  • Lontrell Williams Sr.
  • Kedarius Waters
  • Damarian Gipson
  • Demarcus Glover
  • Kordae Johnson
  • Darrion McDaniel
  • Terrance Rodgers

The FBI completed the arrests by capturing Terrance Rodgers in Atlanta. The other suspects were apprehended across Dallas, Memphis, and Nashville.

All nine defendants face federal kidnapping charges. If convicted, they face a maximum penalty of life in prison.
