Simon Guobadia Claims porsha Williams Targeted Him for His Money

Simon Guobadia, businessman and former husband of “real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams, says he regrets their marriage. In a recent interview, Guobadia claimed Williams targeted him for financial reasons during their 14-month marriage.
Guobadia, 61, told Page Six he “absolutely regrets” marrying Williams, 44. The divorce was finalized in February 2024. he claims he was kept in the dark regarding the reasons for the split.
Guobadia said he repeatedly asked Williams why she filed for divorce, but she would not give him an answer. He also expressed frustration over not being able to contact her family.
“This felt like a coup,” Guobadia said. “I was totally blindsided,” adding that williams had predicted he would feel that way. He texted Williams, “This was a $5 million rehab project that I took on.”
Williams has stated that she hired an immigration attorney in January 2024 after discovering “complex” issues with Guobadia’s legal status. She said this contributed to her belief that the relationship was “headed down a dark road.” The couple officially separated in February 2024,following a series of confrontations.
