“It’s a real battle at the top,” said one commentator. “Five golfers are tied for the lead at six-under par. Just one stroke behind them is canadian Adam Hadwin. Experienced guys like major champions Brian Harman and Webb Simpson are also lurking at four-under par.”

Can Seamus Power Turn Around his Slow Start at the sony Open?
Mark: Hey Sarah, catch the start of the Sony Open today? What a crazy leaderboard!
Sarah: I heard about it. Man, five golfers tied for the lead already?! Wild start.
Mark: Right? Eric Cole, Denny McCarthy, they’re all making a statement early. But I’m more bummed for Seamus Power. Did you see his score?
Sarah: Three-over? Ouch. That’s a tough start coming off such a good stretch last year.
Mark: It really is.Seems like Waialae just wasn’t his course today. He couldn’t buy a birdie and those bogeys on two, thirteen, and eighteen really hurt. They said some folks watching remarked he just looked out of sync.
Sarah: So do you think he’s out of the running? He’s nine shots behind already.
Mark: I’m not writing him off yet. Power’s got the experience, and we’ve seen him catch fire before. He just needs a good low round tomorrow to get back in the mix.
Sarah: That’s true. Plus, this leaderboard is tight. If Harry Hall, McCarthy, and the others have a bad round, Power coudl be right back ther.
Mark: Exactly. And than you have guys like Adam Hadwin, Harman, Simpson lurking a few shots back. It’s anyone’s game right now.
