The new Minister of Social Action, Solidarity and Promotion of Women, Pr. This meeting allowed the minister to address the reality on the ground and share her vision with her colleagues in the Kara region.

A few days after his appointment in the new government, Pr. This Thursday, August 29, 2024, she met with the staff of her ministerial department in the Kara region. This meeting is part of a national tour of visits by internal personnel who report to their ministerial department.

Kara’s meeting allowed the Minister to touch the reality on the ground, to appreciate the achievements made and the difficulties on the ground, with the intention of considering ways to solve solutions for achieving the objectives set by The Head of State, His Excellency Mr. .

Expressed Pr. Kossiwa Zinsou-Klassou his feelings of gratitude to the Head of State to His Excellency Mr. Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé for the trust placed in her by appointing him head of this department. He thanked God for his daily love towards the Togolese.

Speaking about the major challenges of this new government, he said that the appointment of the new government takes place in a specific context. This includes working to complete the implementation of the Government’s Roadmap 2020-2025, and implementing new institutions with the intention of moving from the 4th Republic to the 5th Republic, above all responding to the needs of citizens for economic development and social of the country. He paid tribute to the President of the Republic for all the reforms made to improve the living conditions of citizens in general and at the social level in particular.

She promised to work to meet the major challenges of her department with the help of all her colleagues. He encouraged the Kara region staff to be more responsible and professional in carrying out their various missions.

Mr Atokoussi Wédé, regional director of Social Action Kara, congratulated the minister on her appointment as head of this department. In a short presentation of his region, the director shared with the minister and his entourage the daily reality in terms of difficulties related to infrastructure, human and financial resources. The minister ensured that his staff were available to support him in his mission by continuing to be attentive to his instructions and directions for achieving the objectives assigned to the ministry.

The meeting ended with a guided tour of the site that houses the regional directorate of Social Action, the listening center for victims of gender-based violence at the Kara-Tomdè regional hospital center and the women’s house. This journey of contacting internal personnel who report to their ministerial department will continue in the coming weeks in other regions of the country.
