jakarta, US – President Prabowo subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka are set to attend the grand celebration marking the 60th anniversary of the Golkar Party, according to party chairman Bahlil Lahadalia.
“God willing, according to President Prabowo’s schedule, he will be present. God willing, the vice president and several other figures will also attend,” Lahadalia stated after a national legislator training session for the golkar Party faction in Jakarta on Wednesday.The Golkar Party has extended invitations to other prominent figures, including former President Joko Widodo. Though, Lahadalia couldn’t confirm Widodo’s attendance.
“Let’s pray that he can attend,” Lahadalia added.
The celebration, scheduled for Thursday, will also see the participation of other party leaders.”Of course,all party chairmen have been invited,” Lahadalia confirmed.
This important event marks six decades of the Golkar Party’s presence in Indonesian politics.
