JAKARTA – President Prabowo Subianto officially inaugurated 31 Extraordinary adn Full Ambassadors of the Republic of indonesia at the State Palace in Central Jakarta on ‍Monday afternoon. The ambassadors will represent Indonesia in various strategic areas worldwide.

The ⁣inauguration, attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, took place around 5:20⁤ p.m. local time.

The appointments were formalized through Presidential ‍Decrees Number⁣ 25/P and 40/P of 2025.

during the ceremony, President Subianto administered the oath of office to the newly appointed ambassadors.

I swear/promise that I am to be appointed as an extraordinary ambassador and full rule will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will carry out all legislation with their utmost dedication for the sake of service to my nation and state.

Following the oath, Subianto signed the official documents for⁣ each ambassador.

Among those inaugurated was Junimart Girsang, a ⁣politician, who will serve as ambassador to the Republic of Italy. He will also represent Indonesia to Malta,⁣ San Marino, Cyprus, the Food and Agriculture Association (FAO), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the World Food Program (WFP), and‍ the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (Unidroit).

Manahan MP Sitompul,a former judge,was ‍appointed ⁢as ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Cabinet ministers present at the inauguration included Foreign‍ Minister Sugiono, Coordinating Minister for the Economy airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, Coordinating Minister for Political and security Affairs Budi Gunawan, Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar, and Minister⁢ of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi.
